For this weeks episode Barbara had the pleasure to sit down with Aisatu - Content creator, Sickle Cell Warrior & Advocate
Discussing how she created her powerful charity @africasickleaid to provide much needed resources and essentials for people living with Sickle Cell in Liberia including medication, hot water bottles etc., spreading awareness through radio and YouTube and eliminating stigmas within Africa, Aisatu also highlights how sickle cell had a huge affect on her mental health from anxiety to stressing about pain and finding ways to overcome her challenges.
