For this weeks episode - We invite you for another solo episode to get up close and personal with Barbara discussing the importance of Listening to your Body - understanding what triggers your crisis and how Prevention is better than cure. From navigating peer pressure as a teenager to finding the perfect balance and knowing your weaknesses, your strengths and limits, Barbara goes into detail to shine a light on some of the challenges she faced growing up with Sickle Cell and how Listening to her body has helped her manage her Sickle Cell and live a full healthy life.
