SkB - Dissecting the Serial Killer's Brain
Dr. Caroline Clark Rivera
22 episodes
SkB is a true crime podcast through which I metaphorically dissect the serial killer’s brain. Are you fascinated by the macabre? Oddly obsessed with serial killers? Have you contemplated what it is that leads to the unspeakable depravity exhibited by serial killers like Ed Kemper, Jeffrey Dahmer, Anthony Sowell, or Danny Rolling? Serial killers captivate us, the horror they wreak fascinates us for we want to understand why they do what they do. Serial killers make us question humanity.

I am your host, Caroline, a university biology professor and true crime junkie. Join me on my quest to understand evil. Throughout each episode I will explore the psychological and physiological elements that contributed to the creation of these monsters. I will tackle the question of nature versus nurture in everyday language, providing simple explanations of complex cognitive and biological processes that shaped the brains of the some of the world’s most heinous serial killers.
