She got a job at a topless bar and learned not only how to be an entertainer but how to operate a business. She went to school and used the skills she learned as a stripper to propel her into a successful career as a social worker helping her clients become comfortable with their sexuality and themselves.About the Guest:Stephanie Gonzalez has a Master’s degree in Social Work and is completing her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Walden University. She is a licensed social worker in Hawaii whose private practice includes a Psy D clinician, two social workers, and four PhD practicum students. In her 5 years as a stripper, she learned the art of people and coined the term “sexual social work”. She now works with clients who have issues with self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-efficacy. She also helps clients discover their sexuality, sexual interests, and sexual desires.
