A podcast where Brooklyn B turns her own experience into listener advice. Trust that this second-year college student has been there and done that (probably more than once). Look no further, and come Sit Back & Chat.

Accountability: Let's Talk About It

Welcome to episode 14 of Sit Back & Chat! On this week's episode host, Brooklyn B, covers many aspects of accountability. In the intro rant, Brooklyn B talks about holding grudges, rotating friends, and not responding to people for days on in. In the main part of the episode, many elements and aspects of accountability are discussed and uncovered. Pride, ego, victim mentality, adults being notorious for not apologizing to those of the younger generations, how people would rather gaslight, manipulate, and/or deflect than just simply apologizing, and much more is talked about in an open and honest conversation with listeners. Brooklyn B even gives the audience an example of a clear, concise, but effective apology. The host also gives advice and guidance on how to look at things from other people's perceptive when you feel as if you did nothing wrong. Towards the end a message to adults from Brooklyn B is given when it relates to apologizing to kids (especially their own). This episode provides lots of insight under the blanket of a causal conversation that one would have with a close friend.
