“Only a sith deals in absolutes” - Obi Wan Kenobi, Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
Now can anyone tell me what is wrong with what kenobi said? Yes, what he said is an “absolute”. And what side does kenobi fight for? The Jedi. And what happened to the Jedi at the end of that film? They were wiped out by the hands of the Sith.
Now what does this have to do with today’s episode? For starters the title is inspired from Star Wars and secondly, the Jedi fell because they refuse to acknowledge the existence of the dark side of the force and only study the light - as if the dark side is some evil that the smallest of contact will corrupt you entirely.
