अपने शब्दों की शक्ति पहचानें | Mind Your Words, Master Your Life | (By Sirshree)
A spiritual warrior has the power of words. If the tongue is the horse and the words its jockey, then a well-trained jockey will always be victorious. A spiritual warrior has mighty power in his words and deep devotion in his heart. He also has the ability to control how others' words affect him. What effect do the negative words people use, have on you? Some people find it difficult to get over the things that were said to them in their childhood. If someone is called an unwanted child during their childhood, that thought becomes a conviction and works like black magic even after the person has grown up. Similarly if a girl is repeatedly told that she is ugly, she grows up believing it and eventually ends up ruining her life. We need to learn how to not let negative words affect us. When a doctor says that a certain disease is incurable, it has an adverse effect on the patient’s mind-set. Doctors need to frame their communicate more effectively to be careful not to convey negativity and instead say that, “This disease is as yet incurable in my particular line of expertise”. The fact is that every disease on this planet is curable and the cure is present within oneself. We need to be consciously aware of the words we use, as we may even attract diseases through them. People can be categorised into two types, those who are Spiritual warriors and those who live in illusion. The spiritual warriors have the wisdom to focus only on the intentions behind the words used, whereas the ones who live in illusion lack that wisdom and focus on the literal words. One must always focus on then intentions. Negatives words cannot affect us unless we permit them to do so. The tongue of a spiritual warrior always speaks sweet words and is indifferent to tastes. If he hurts someone, he will also patch it up with positive words to pacify the hurt. To ensure we use the right words, we must consciously observe the words use throughout the day and contemplate upon which ones need to be corrected. In addition to this training the spiritual warrior also learns to adds discipline to his words. Finally when he is fully trained, every word he speaks becomes a prayer. The ones who live in illusion need to understand that words are just a medium for transferring intentions and wisdom. They are like an ice-cream candy’s stick. The focus should be on the ice-cream and not the stick. Once we’re done eating ice-cream we discard the stick, not keep it as a souvenir. If we are able to balance the intention, everything else gets balanced. When we balance our intentions, the unwanted communications, gossips and cheap talks are drained out, leading us to developing a habit of not speaking ill of others. Every time we speak ill of someone, we create a karmic bondage with them. Unknowingly we go about creating such bondages with people around us and wind up get entangled in them ourselves. We have to learn to break all karmic bondages binding us down, however small they may be.

[HINDI] Miracle of faith | विश्वास का चमत्कार (by Sirshree)
Faith has tremendous power, the power to attain miraculous results. But its purity is adulterated by doubt. Doubt is the only obstacle. However, if cleared of all doubt, the results are amazing. Through a delightful example Sirshree illustrates this point and illustrates what faith can do. This extract is from a discourse of 13 intentions for the year in development of one's own qualities. This is the third intention and is meant for the month of March.

[HINDI] Self Awareness Meditation (सेल्फ-जागृती ध्यान) ~ by Sirshree
Self-Awareness Meditation It is common to sit in meditation. However, one must learn to stand, walk and run as well in meditation. In a meditative state, all activities happen effortlessly. Call it meditation or inner silence. It is the same. When it is observed from different viewpoints, different words are used to describe it.When it is seen as a whole it is described as Meditation. When we experience its depth, it is described as Silence. When awareness becomes aware of itself the result is inner silence. When attention is on external things or in the present moment then it is awareness. When sunlight comes in light of itself, it becomes a bright light. Consciousness needs to awaken in its own light. If awareness or consciousness is not aware about itself then it is not self-meditation. It is mere witnessing of the body and mind. Those who understand will know clearly what pure consciousness feels like. Those who do not understand it yet, will certainlyexperience a eureka effect someday if they keep listening and practicing. At that point you would understand all that has been conveyed all along about inner peace and silence. For consciousness to shine in its own light, it needs help from the body-mind mechanism. Body mind mechanism is a helpful friend. However, body mind mechanism could also become a traitor, if it is not trained and continues to indulge in its patterns and tendencies such as greed, lust, anger, worry, hatred, jealousy, boredom etc. As long as the mind is engaged in these tendencies, the ultimate life purposeof stabilizing in the experience of The Self would not be possible. Not many people have their body mind mechanisms supporting them as a helpful friend? If your body-mind mechanism is not your true helpful friend at this time, you can still make it a helpful friend. No matter what the state of the body mind mechanism is at this time, it can still help you. If there is no understanding, then whatever it does could be a hindrance in knowing the Self. If there are tendencies and patterns in the body mind mechanism, if it is not disciplined, if it engages in lust and attachment, the body becomes a traitor. Give your body mind mechanism true love. The Self(Consciousness) will want to give it true love. Consciousness likes to associate with body mind mechanisms that are free from tendencies, that are filled with bright love, that have a thirst for final Truth. Consciousness likes to associate with enlightened masters, where it is easy to experience itself. If such body mind mechanisms are not available, then The Selfcreates those bodies by giving them self-experience. The role of an enlightened Master is the same - to help other body mind mechanisms become free of tendencies and full of self-awareness by walking the same path that HE walked. Even if this looks difficult, nature creates opportunities for more body mind mechanisms to become free of tendencies and stabilize in The Self. This is part of the divine play. With this understanding, continue meditating without thoughts or chasing the thoughts. Stay in the present moment. Your focus must be on Tejasthan (your heart or feeling center, not the physical heart). If you wander in your head, ask your awareness to come back to your heart center. If the mind still wanders, askthe mind, “Who is meditating?” When you ask thisquestion, all delusional thoughts- thoughts that arise from preconceived notions, false beliefs, old patterns and tendenciesbegin to vanish. Only thoughts of self-experience remain or there is only bright silence. In meditation, you are GOD. You are freedom – the one who sets oneself free. Aham Brahmasmi -Whose actions arise only from the Source, the Truth. The ‘I am’ ness where the ‘I’ or egodissolves and ‘universal I’ prevails. Before you open your eyes after meditating, remind yourself the state you experienced in meditation, the understanding you experienced while in the meditative state, so you do not get lost in the delusional world once you open your eyes. The understanding you gain in meditation does not get lost.Remain in self-awareness even while performing your daily routine. If you forget, remind yourself the Truth. Ask yourself often during the day, what role did you enter into now? Ask yourself every hour, “Who am I now?” Become aware of what happens that leads you to forget your true nature. Once this continuous self-enquiry becomes a habit, you will experience your true identify. You will remember who you are, before and after completing any activity. It will become a part of your being. You will stabilize in meditation. This is true or impersonal service.

[HINDI] How to Dissolve the Real Ego [PART 1]: What is the Real Ego and How is it Born (by Sirshree)
This is a story of those times (hypothetically) or rather an analogy or example of those times when the bleating of goats sounded as "Tae Tae" instead of "Mae Mae" (the sound "Mae Mae", onomatopoeically, is considered to be the general sound of a bleating goat). So bleating goats sounded like "Tae Tae" in those times and they were very happy then. There was no need for such self realization workshops for in those times everyone was content and at peace with themselves. And then a baby goat was born, the kid was very weak. All of you will acknowledge the fact that a weak child requires special care and attention. All the requirements of such a child are fulfilled easily, without the child having to crave for it. Sitting at home he gets all that he desires for. Same was the case with this weak kid; unlike the other kids, he got milk and grass sitting at home without having to venture out, for he was weak. Now gradually the kid starts growing up and as he grows a thought starts taking root in him, a thought which is much different from the thoughts of the other kids. All of you will know how a single thought defines a man's fate, how a single thought can either cause pain and sorrow or relieve one from his misery. How does a thought spring in one's mind? From what understanding does it spring? Seeing what and hearing what does a thought takes root? What feeling or belief causes a thought to get incepted in the mind? What knowledge or experience causes such an inception in the mind? The thought is a reflection of your understanding about your life's experiences and feelings. It is your inner state, that determines the creation of thoughts in your mind. And if you are not able to be happy then it must be that your perspective towards your thoughts was not correct. You must have seen fireworks shoot up in the sky during Diwali (the Indian Festival of lights, this festival celebrates the victory of good over bad by bursting crackers and fireworks). How do you see those fireworks? You see them bursting in the sky, they burst and fuse in the sky, amalgamate with the sky without leaving any trace of their origin and leaving no identification of their own, they do not stick to you rather they blend totally in the sky. Seeing such firework gives you pleasure; leaves a pleasant impression on your mind. But if they stick to you and burst in your hands then they leave an unpleasant impression on you, it gives you pain and leaves a scar from the burn. After your hands have been burnt if you ask 'why do I get these unpleasant feelings about fireworks?' like one always says, 'why do I get unpleasant feelings because of thoughts?' then you will be told that you have been unable to celebrate Diwali properly; you have forgotten how to burst crackers. Now that we have grown up, we have forgotten how fireworks appear in the sky; we have forgotten how we used to enjoy seeing those fireworks in our childhood. As we don't get identified with crackers and enjoy the firework, we shall not get identified with our thoughts too. The festival (Diwali) comes and reminds you how to live life, how to celebrate it; we must celebrate it in such a manner that every day in our lives is like Diwali (the festival of lights). Every thought of "I" is like that cracker, we could see that rise and fuse in the sky of consciousness. If we understand the true essence of the festival and learn to celebrate in the real sense then every day will become Diwali for us, i.e., every day will be as euphoric as the celebration of a festival. This is what is meant by being able to burst fireworks properly. Coming back to the story of the weak kid; we already know that the kid started feeling special and aloof from others and started bleating as "Mae Mae". Well, "Mae "in Hindi means "I"; so this "Mae Mae" bleating of the kid has an ironic undertone of the kid developing a feeling of being special and separate from others. This feeling of being separate is the "real ego". Everyone took great care of the kid because it was weak, but so much of extra attention made the kid feel that it is something special. The kid failed to understand that it was getting all this attention due to his shortcomings; instead it started feeling as a V.I.P. (started feeling very special).

[English] Thought watching meditation - Knowing the silent source of thoughts (by Sirshree)
Dear Truth Seekers, Happy Thoughts! Please close your eyes and be seated in the posture of meditation. Close your eyes. We have to know how to watch the mind and how to learn its behavior. As we cannot see the breeze but with the movement of the leaves we can see its presence. Similarly if you want to see the mind then look at thoughts. Thoughts give the right information about the mind, every thought has to be watched without getting identified. This is the most important stage. This is the stage where there are maximum chances of error. This cannot be understood by watching the thoughts for the first time. So you have to practice thought watching meditation. When we watch movie or a channel on the television initially we notice only a few aspect. When we see the same program for the second time we notice more details. It is same with the mind. But when we watch a movie for the first time our whole attention is focused on our favorite actor or actress. Isn’t it? When we see it for the second time then out attention may shift towards the people in the background. We see details. For thought watching also initially you will understand few things but with practice you will find a gap between two thoughts. One thought has passed, second has not come yet. The gap is there. You can be in that gap. In thoughtless state. So let us start this meditation. Dear Meditator, You have to become the complete meditator. For thought watching meditation, sit in an appropriate posture and take mudra of meditation, dhyan. Body posture should be straight but relaxed. Back bone should be straight, simultaneously you should be relaxed also. There should not be any stress on the back bone. Now relax yourself by taking one or two deep breaths and then releasing them slowly… Take a deep breath and release it slowly… Repeat it for one more time… Let your breathing continue to be as it as present now… At this moment your breathing may be shallow or deep breathing is going on… Be comfortable, natural, however it may be, let it continue the same. Do not control your breathing… Just watch as it goes on… If you control your breathing then it is not meditation, it is pranayam – that is regulation of breathing. Now this is right posture and mudra of complete meditator… Let your eyes be closed… Begin to watch your thoughts now… See, which thoughts are going on inside you… Start watching your thoughts… Keep your attention on your thoughts… Witness them… See your thoughts coming and going… Let the thoughts continue as they are in the normal natural manner. Some thoughts may be positive some may be negative… Some thoughts may be related to the work you do, while some may be of boredom… In every state keep your body steady… There is an interval or gap between the thoughts… One thought goes, another thought comes but there is a gap between these two thoughts… This interval may be the thousandth part of a second or for few second… whatever it may be… keep your attention on that interval… In this interval there is no thought… Everything has stopped or frozen… In this moment everything is silent… Decide in your mind that you will continue knowing silence between two thoughts… continue knowing the silence between two thoughts with the feeling of a witness… Passive witness… Keep inspecting your thoughts… Just as on the TV screen, you watch a program but there is an advertisement strip at the bottom of the screen which rolls horizontally… But you do not worry about those words ad, in the same manner let them roll horizontally… Horizontal thinking may continue but you keep your attention on your program that is silence, an interval, the self… The consciousness… If you miss the gap do not worry, pay attention to the next gap… Keep inspecting yourself… Through the gap between two compartments of the passing train, we can catch a glimpse of the opposite platform. In the same way we can catch a glimpse of the self witnessed through the gap between two thoughts. … … There is no need to pursue or chase the previous thought. Just watch a thought and say ‘Next’… If you get a thought, ‘No thought is coming at all.’ This is also a thought, ‘No thought is coming.’ Then you have to understand that this is also a thought… After seeing it say ‘Next’… As you go on watching thoughts you will also feel the joy of detachment… Detachment from thoughts…

[Hindi] Power of Hope - Hope is The Starter and Confidence is The Main Course (by Sirshree)
Correct hope gives a relief, not the hollow hope. When you hold the correct hope, it gives relief because faith gets associated with it. When you give words to the ‘Godly thoughts’ then these words then become ‘faith voice’. Godly thoughts also pass through our mind and the thoughts of individual ego (‘I’-ego) also pass through our mind. But to which thoughts we give our voice? When we give voice to the thoughts of ego then it is called, ‘deadly and poisonous voice’. When we give voice to the Godly thoughts, then it is called ‘faith voice’. What has God thought about human? For God, the human is his ultimate creation. God thinks this and if you give your words to this thought and said, ‘I am the ultimate creation of God.’ Then it becomes ‘faith voice’. When you say, ‘God has created me to remain healthy.’ Then it is called ‘faith voice’. This ‘faith voice’ is a medicine. You are not supposed to drink it from the mouth but create it by mouth, by using your words. A man has to give his words to the thoughts of God. That is why mankind is created, to express the qualities of God. What does God wish to see with a human? He wants humans to explore highest possibilities of Love, Peace, and Joy. But what man is saying with his voice, how he uses his words? ‘This is not going to happen’, ‘this is not possible’, ‘I have this problem.’, ‘I am not capable of this’, ‘no one cares for me.’ He keeps on saying this. If you write down all your thoughts in a day you will understand how much of it is ‘faith voice’ and how much is ‘poisonous voice’. So you are supposed to delete the poisonous voice wherever you are using it. What is the way to delete it? Just shift to the ‘faith voice’. You are not supposed to fight with negative words. But repeat the positive words. This will start with the hope. With hope, you will feel relief. Immediately you will feel that now you are connected with God. In which state God wish to see you in? A hopeless state? No, he wishes you to be full of hope. In a hopeless state, you disconnect yourself from God and God tries to tell you, why are you disconnecting yourself from me? God tries to tell you that you have seen something I never created. If you see a figure of ghost where branches of two trees merge with each other. Then God will tell you that he created only two trees, he did not create that Ghost. Similarly, God did not create ego. God created the best creation as a human but then humans started to carry ego that they are better than each other. This is something they are supposed to surrender in front of God. This is the extra thing you are carrying. You are actually supposed to work on what is created for you. Let that grow and blossom. Whenever you are in stress, whenever you face negative thoughts and emotions you are supposed to tell yourself that now you need a relief, you need a reliever. Hope is that reliever. You should always keep the lamp of hope burning. The more focus I keep on it, it’s light will increase. Hope is a starter. If you have taken it then the main course of faith comes in front of you. Then using this ‘faith voice’ you will see miracles in your life. You need to understand the power of hope. Why people said that Hope is the pillar that holds up the world. Otherwise, the world which you see in news channels and read about in a newspaper, one could think that this world is not worth living in. How can we live in such a world? We are supposed to keep praising hope and faith and it’s power. We are supposed to keep our focus on hope and faith because we want this in our life.

[HINDI] The music of meditation - Vibrations of the key "Who am I"| स्वर-संगीत ध्यान (by Sirshree)
Close your eyes and sit in a meditative posture. You are about to learn the music of meditation, which very few people know. In this, you pluck one cord and pay attention to the music /vibration it creates, experience it. Here, you play one key on the piano and take a pause before you play the next key. Experience what happens within, the vibration created. Now the piano is in front of you and press the key. Press the key which has the words ‘who am I?’ written on it…now wait and watch the music that gets created. Around the key on which ’Who am I?’ is written, you will find the keys which says ‘I am a man’ or ‘I am a women’ etc. Press one of those and know the vibration that is created and experience the music …Now again go back and press the ‘who am I’ key…Watch and wait with wonder. There are some other keys away from the ‘Who am I?’ key where it is written ‘I am Gujarati’, ‘I am Punjabi’, ‘I am Hindu’, ‘I am Muslim’, ‘I am a student’, ‘I am a teacher’, ‘I am a daughter-in-law’, ‘I am a mother-in-law’, ’I am a servant ’,‘I am a boss’. Press these keys … watch and wait … experience the music. Press the key which you find is most suitable for you. There is one key with your name written on it, press that key too…Press two, three times… See what impression is created….Watch and wait with wonder. Press all keys and experience the music… Now press a different key which says: ‘I am not the body, I am not any name’, ‘I am not any designation’, ‘I am neither a brother, sister, husband, wife, male, female, small, smart, dull, black or fair etc’… Now experience the music… Wait; watch with wonder. After all the keys have been pressed, press the first key ‘who am I?’ once again. Ask yourself: ‘who am I?’…Now, if you lightly press the first key then the word ‘who’ would be ignored and only ‘I am’ gets pressed. You will listen to the music of ‘I am’… Listen to it. Beyond every note played or not played ‘I am’ is there… ‘am’…know the experience that comes from the music…Wait, watch with wonder…Wait, pay attention but with wonder…you are getting the insight of the music. You are becoming a connoisseur… this will happen with practice… After few moments open your eyes... But until then, listen to the music feel the vibration it created when you pressed the last key……….. Slowly open your eyes. ~ Sirshree (Spiritual, Enlightened Master)

[HINDI] What is Hope and What is Its Power? (उम्मीद क्या है?)
Hope What is the strength of hope. Hope is that pillar which holds up entire world. We shall contemplate how strong is this hope within us. We shall understand what exactly is hope? Hope is biggest support of time. With hope every tide becomes a shore. Let’s us understand what miracles take place when we invoke hope within us. Let’s start with an example: One day a person bought a house. There were trees in the front yard of this house. The old owner showed entire house to the new owner. In the front yard there was a half cut tree without leaves and it seemed like it was burned. The new buyer asked what is this? The old owner told him that one day this house had got on fire. At that time all trees had caught fire. Later we removed all these trees and planted new trees. This is the only one tree left of that time. When new owners started living in that house, he started to water all these trees. When he looked at that burned tree, a thought came in his mind and he started giving little water to that tree also. It started to grow and one day it once again became a huge tree. Then this new house owner gave a name to this tree – ‘Hope’. After that whenever people used to come to visit his house, he used to show them the full house and finally ask them would they like to meet ‘Hope’? How a little hope in his mind worked and the result was in front of them.

[Hindi] Journey of meditation - Knowing what to do in meditation | ध्यान यात्रा (by Sirshree)
Do you ever wonder what meditation is and why you need to meditate? Usually when we think of meditation, we think of closing eyes and focusing on breath. Meditation incorrectly implies only focus and concentration on breath. But have you really thought about why you need to close your eyes? What is the point of meditation? What meditation really is? When asked to sit still and do nothing, most people would find this ‘doing nothing’ very challenging. Everything that happens in the world cannot happen without mind’s help. The question is how aware are we when things are happening. Increasing the level of awareness, leading one all the way to source of awareness is meditation. This is where the mind is completely still. It is an experience of pure presence with no thoughts, therefore, no labels, no judgement, no anticipation, no stress, no anxiety, no fear, just pure sense of being. This is a state of self-realization, that can certainly be experienced with meditation. During meditation, we close our physical eyes to be able to open our inner eyes. We close our eyes in sleep to refresh and recharge our body-mind-mechanism. We close our eyes in meditation to open our inner eyes and learn the art of seeing the true self. When you don’t have the right understanding about meditation, you may get lost in thoughts. You might spend several minutes meditating with closed eyes, but do not get value out of it because you don’t know what to do, what to see in meditation. Meditation is knowing the one that sees the darkness when you close your eyes. With closed eyes, you might see bright or colorful lights as well, but the one that sees all lights with closed eyes is unaffected by the colors of light. In this meditation, you will go through a profound journey of self-realization by understanding following questions and more: 1. What is true meditation? 2. Why do we really close our eyes during meditation? 3. Who we really are? Are we body, mind or something else? 4. What is our true being? 5. How you can reflect in your daily life to make sure your meditation practices are helping you beyond the time of meditation? 6. How to be mindful of your choices and understand what kind of thoughts are these choices are really coming from? Meditation means experiencing the sense of being. Meditation is a path for self-realization and experiencing the final truth. This meditation is a tool to quieten the mind and understand the existential truth. The benefits of meditations are usually described as anxiety relief, stress reduction, calm. All these benefits can certainly be experienced, but the greater and true benefit of meditation is manifestation of our true being and expression of creativity in presence of Love, Inner silence and Happiness. When people realize the true reason, and experience the benefits of meditation, they can sit for at least 2 minutes every day and learn to reflect on their daily lives. This video helps us understand importance of meditation in experiencing the final truth. It helps us understand why it is important to drop the mind in meditation in order to achieve self-realization. In our daily lives, we forget to remember our true being. In meditation, as we drop the mind, we experience what we really are. People take years to understand their truth and sometimes do not even hear about self-stabilization. If they don’t know the essential reason behind meditation, then other than physical benefits, there will not be much that will be attained even after years of practice. In order to experience true benefits, it is essential to learn more about self-realization and grow our readiness to acquire more experience about existential wisdom. It is essential to spend time in practicing meditation to achieve stabilization. This video explains in detail the path to self-stabilization starting from practice of meditation and beyond. In this video, the enlightened master, Sirshree further explains the difference between personal and impersonal thoughts and how to recognize if we are truly present in the moment or not. Among many, one of the key insights is when you experience your sense of presence, become aware of your awareness, you realize you are not the body or the mind. You realize the experience of the sense of presence is not on the body, nor is it in the body, but it is because of the body.
