Sheetal Patel, the founder, began her “Power Bag” line in 2011.  The handbags have since been featured on Zappos.com on their Emerging Designer platform, as well as, WWD MAGIC Launch Pad trade show.  The line has also been sold at the  Four Seasons Hotel gift shop in Chicago and other luxury hotels. After taking a hiatus, Sheetal has come back with a bang to  empower women through wearing a statement bag.  To own it, love it and not give a damn what others think.  Sheetal began G.I.A. Luxe as a single mother in college.  She has challenged the unconscious bias, crushed stereotypes and now looks to empower the girls and women of tomorrow.
