Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is the long-awaited sequel to Tim Burton’s cult classic Beetlejuice (1988). The plot revisits the world of the supernatural, focusing on the mischievous ghost Betelgeuse, played again by Michael Keaton. Set decades after the original, the story follows Lydia Deetz (Winona Ryder), now an adult with a teenage daughter of her own, portrayed by Jenna Ortega.
