Cases like Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd (just to name a few) are constant reminders of the ongoing issue with racism and injustice in America. Racial bias, racial profiling, and violence towards Black men and women is anything but new. It can be scary to think about raising black children in today's social climate, a climate that in many ways hasn't changed for us. In this week's episode we talk to women (special guests Mica and Shauntay, dynamic mothers with Black sons) about what it's like raising Black boys in today's America.
