We are the Choir of Our Lady of the Rosary in the parish of St. John, on the island of Barbados. Ours is a vibrant and active music ministry and we have created this podcast to focus on the psalms in the Catholic liturgy. Most of the musical settings are original compositions and we feel that they reflect the rhythm and flavour of our Caribbean culture. Our hope is that through this podcast we can share our love of the psalms with a wider global community.

Responsorial Psalm 117(118):1-2,16-17,22-23 for Easter Sunday - Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!
Cf. Ps 138: 18, 5-6 I have risen, and I am with you still, alleluia. You have laid your hand upon me, alleluia. Too wonderful for me, this knowledge, alleluia, alleluia.   Responsorial Psalm 117(118):1-2,16-17,22-23   Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!   Give thanks to the Lord for he is good, for his love has no end. Let the sons of Israel say: ‘His love has no end.’   Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!   The Lord’s right hand has triumphed; his right hand raised me up. I shall not die, I shall live and recount his deeds.   Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!   The stone which the builders rejected has become the corner stone. This is the work of the Lord, a marvel in our eyes.   Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!   The English translation of Psalm Responses from Lectionary for Mass © 1969, 1981, 1997, International Commission on English in the Liturgy Corporation.
