In this pauri, Guru Nanak Dev Ji describes how countless beings constantly ask and pray for blessings from the Divine, who is the eternal Giver and fulfiller of needs. People request material comforts, power, honour, and salvation, but only those who accept the Hukam (Divine Will) and remain content in it find true spiritual peace. Guru Ji reminds us that Parmatma’s giving never stops, while the desires of beings are endless, and true wisdom lies in embracing contentment and understanding the Creator’s Will. Praising the Divine at the Ambrosial hours, Amritvela, is how we can truly experience God's grace.
