We believe every life is a precious masterpiece, and uniquely embued by God with intrinsic, incalculable worth. Every person has a powerful purpose, but not everyone has equal access to opportunities. And that's why we exist!
The Significant Life Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity, dedicated to the empowerment of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities into the full expression of their God-given purpose. We address the three cardinal concerns of adults and families living with these challenges: work, live, play. We champion interdependent residential living, meaningful work opportunities and integrated, vibrant social connections that create significant friendship connections.

About our Guests:
Brittney Serpell is an expert in helping parents create strong, positive relationships with their children. Brittney is currently a Senior Leader at "Loving on Purpose," a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening relational health, marriages, and families around the world. Along with traveling to speak and teach nationally and internationally at Loving on Purpose events and serving as an instructor for multiple online courses through the Life Academy, Brittney, along with her husband Ben, provide marriage and family coaching through conferences, online workshops, and one-on-one sessions. She also cohosts two popular podcasts––The KYLO Show with Danny Silk, and Imperfect Parenting.
Brittney is also a wife and mother of three, and is dedicated to living out her belief in the power of "loving on purpose." In her work and her personal
life, Brittney is a skilled communicator who offers hope-filled solutions for
everyday parenting challenges.
Ben was born in Melbourne, Australia, moving to America at age 18 to pursue his dream for ministry. After 2 years in Bethel School of Ministry, in Redding CA, he spent the next 10 years on staff at Bethel serving in the youth ministry. Since moving to Sacramento, Ben has completed his BA in Social Work and worked in the Human Services field as a Victim Advocate. This accumulation of training and experience has given Ben a standout ability to assess situations within relationships and help guide people effectively using helpful tools and an empowering approach. Married at 19, Ben and Brittney are thriving nearly 20 years into marriage, along with their three amazing children: Delani, Adalyn, and Lincoln.
