We believe every life is a precious masterpiece, and uniquely embued by God with intrinsic, incalculable worth. Every person has a powerful purpose, but not everyone has equal access to opportunities. And that's why we exist!
The Significant Life Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity, dedicated to the empowerment of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities into the full expression of their God-given purpose. We address the three cardinal concerns of adults and families living with these challenges: work, live, play. We champion interdependent residential living, meaningful work opportunities and integrated, vibrant social connections that create significant friendship connections.

In this episode, guest author Karrie Garcia, talks about her new book, "Free and Fully Alive." She and Jen discuss engaging the body. This is holy work to tend to our bodies. She shares how and why It’s time to take back our bodies. Not just to bring to a state of physical health but to honor all of its workings. To listen to it and offer it the space it needs to rest and heal.
It's crazy (but also not one bit surprising) that God called both Karrie and Jen on similar journeys of obedience through the launching of their books.
We didn't plan to do this, but God plucked us out and reminded us that we had a story to tell...stories that point right back to Him and the work he's done in both of our lives.
As Karrie shared...following Christ isn't about a life of sacrifice. It's definitely not about accolades. It's about To reclaim who you were created to be.
And the beauty of Christ-like obedience is that it leads to life that is fully alive!
