She will be discussing her research with TARGet Kids, the largest primary care research network for children in Canada, which aims to help assess the impact of COVID-19 on Canadian children’s physical and mental health. We will also hear Xuedi speak about her experience as an epidemiologist and her advice for aspiring data analysts in this field.

Xuedi Li is a data analyst in the Child Health Evaluative Sciences Program at The Hospital for Sick Children, with a background in pediatric epidemiology. She works with a group called TARGet Kids, the largest primary care research network for children in Canada. She is passionate about improving the health of Canadian children through the prevention of chronic disease and obesity in early childhood. Xuedi’s current research focuses on helping to assess the impact of COVID-19 on Canadian children’s physical and mental health.
