Such a big part of my cancer journey so far has been the support of my friends (who live all over the world). To create transparency for fellow cancer patients and supporting friends we have created a mini-series where I have candid conversations with my friends about their experiences of processing my diagnosis with or without me. These episodes will take you on an emotional ride of genuine discussions about life, fear, mortality, and love.
In this episode, I chat with my friend Cathal (Catty) Berragan. We became friends through work, and through countless hours of long projects and nights out we have created a relationship like siblings. Catty has been a key pillar in my life to keep me grounded, stoic, and realistic. Also, personal skills have come to life through this chapter of my life. His experience with my diagnosis was not an easy one as he was also facing similar news from a close family member. Thank you for sharing your story, I love you.
