This is a safe space for my thoughts—Black, unfiltered, unapologetic. A Black Canadian voice from Ottawa (Red Black) shaped by the Red, the Black, and the Green and the Red Blue (Rouge et Bleu). I don’t know exactly where this podcast is headed, but that’s the point. Like me, this podcast is a work in progress. It grows, shifts, and evolves as I do. Maybe it becomes a community, maybe it stays just me and this one mic. Either way, I’m here, and I’ve got something to say—so Shut Up!

296: Katrina and White Jesus
In today’s episode, I talk about expecting the worst, how quickly time passes, why I can’t be Christian as a Black man, and how a Netflix documentary on Hurricane Katrina made me reflect on our collective indifference to human suffering. Quotes May the calm in you win over the chaos around you Losing toxic people is a win You did what you could with what you knew at the time If you’re feeling heavy Randomness If you can overthink the worst...
