Dr. Christine A. Ward-Paige is a marine science PhD and founder of eOceans — a software platform that integrates her expertise to change the way that ocean science is done: making it collaborative, transparent, real-time, and actionable. For 20 years, Christine tracked human-environment interactions, and is known for her work on sharks, rays, biodiversity, sewage pollution, policy evaluation, shark sanctuaries, fisheries, marine protected areas, and more. She has led numerous global participatory science (citizen science) approaches with unprecedented participation, resulting in policy changes that protect species and special places.
