Why It’s Important to Preserve Malaysian Traditional Dance ft. Dalila Samad | #14

Dalila Samad is a versatile dancer with experience in street dance, traditional dance, and contemporary. She started out her dance journey at the age of 17 and having fallen in love with dance, she pursued a diploma and bachelor’s in dance at ASWARA, which is the national academy of arts, culture and heritage. In this episode, she talks more about traditional dances and why it’s important to preserve them. Dalila has just launched DS Dance Company and she’s teaching weekly online classes in Malay traditional dance and contemporary starting October.
