๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐๐ฒ๐ป ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ธ๐ฒ๐ฟ was born in Israel in the late 1970s into a Chareidi family living in Bnei Brak. Both his parents had become religious later in life (chozrim b'teshuva/baalei teshuva) - his father a helicopter pilot Vietnam vet, his mother an Iraqi-Indian born Jew who grew up in London after her family emigrated there from Bombay in the 1950s. Reuven's Jewish journey involved many soul searching twists and turns that took him deep into the ultra Orthodox system as a child and teenager, then to rejecting this religious way of life, into the IDF and then back to the Torah path. His story is a fascinating and honest insight into growing up in the Israeli black and white Chareidi-Chassidic world and how a frum-from-birth Jew had to discover for himself what it truly means to be a Torah observant person. ************************************** Hosted by David Goodwin A ๐ฆ๐ต๐บ๐ผ๐ผ๐๐ถ๐ป' podcast produced by Glow Films Israel: โ โ โ https://glowfilmsisrael.com/โ โ โ SUBSCRIBE to our Shmoozin' YouTube, Spotify and Apple channels LIKE/FOLLOW us on Facebook: @๐๐ต๐บ๐ผ๐ผ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฑ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐
