"L, did you know? Shinigami... love apples!?" - Death Note
Join thoroughly uncloseted otakus Pinpin and Yuuyuu for a journey to find a proper slice of life, some harems (both regular and UNO reversed), and the skills to say "this is a pen" in horrible American-accented Japanese.
Each weekly long-form episode includes 30 minutes of entertaining weekly updates on happenings within Japanese pop culture and media including anime, music of all genres, video games, cinema, manga, popular merchandise, and more. Episodes conclude with 30 minutes of discussion of current events, Japanese cultural hot takes, and controversial spicy opinions, wrapped in a respectful, "nihonjin"-focused attitude.
Topics can be a bit triggering and often NSFW (naughty, naughty nerds... bad otaku, bad); but the podcast is always a safe space for those looking for a cultural home, LGBTQIA+ safe space, or just a place to weeb out.

On their inaugural podcast episode, newly-uncloseted Shinigami Pinpin and Yuuyuu confess that they've truly come out of the otaku closet, for real this time. It's not a phase, they promise.
Enjoy 30 minutes of entertaining meme'ing, talking about their favorite anime, Japanese music artists, films, and characters, as well as nostalgizing about how all anime was better in the 90s (it wasn't). Then, spend a half hour to get to know the Shinigami's background and why they decided, of all things, to make their idiocy public.
Much fun will be had by all, especially by their parents, who won't be listening to this show probably.
This show rates 5/10 (C-rank) on the Shinigami Spicyness Scale, so you can probably enjoy it at work with only minor judgment from your coworkers.
