Allie Coghan: Plaintiff in the Kappa Kappa Gamma Lawsuit

On She Thinks podcast this week, we're kicking off a special mini-series with each of the named plaintiffs in the Westenbroek v. Kappa Kappa Gamma lawsuit, oral arguments for which will be heard before the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals on May 14, 2024. On this episode, guest host Julie Gunlock talks to Allie Coghan about her part in the fight to preserve women's spaces.

Coghan overviews the lawsuit and her desire to preserve the sorority for future generations. She shares the division that resulted in her sisterhood after a male was admitted into the sorority house; where the lawsuit stands now; and the feedback the girls have received, both locally and at the national level.

Allie Coghan is a recent graduate from the University of Wyoming, where she was an active member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. Coghan is a named plaintiff in Westenbroek v. Kappa Kappa Gamma and now has a career in selling farm equipment.
