Negotiation can seem so scary - but it doesn't have to be! One of the primary issues is that we think of it as an "us vs them" scenario.

There are a lot of subtleties and strategies that get taught, but as I've negotiated in business, at home, and just in general, I've found that there are three keys to negotiation that make the whole process a lot less stressful and a lot more rewarding.

1. Really KNOW that you deserve it.

2. Know your BATNA

3. Always enter with the knowledge that it could and SHOULD be a win-win situation.
