This week we’re bringing back a heartfelt and timely encore episode that originally aired in May 2023 as Episode 28.

Facing Mother’s Day when your mom has passed away can be incredibly difficult. And if you’re a mother yourself, this day can feel especially complex - while your family may be celebrating you, you might also be deeply missing your own mom. These conflicting emotions can be tender, confusing, and tough to navigate.

In this encore conversation, I sit down with my dear friends Vanessa Woodburn and Binu Dhindsa—two fellow moms who have also lost their mothers. Together, we share our honest experiences, explore the emotional layers that come with Mother’s Day after loss, and offer reflections on how to honour your grief while still showing up for yourself and your loved ones.
