On episode nine of She Dreams In Color™ we have a conversation with DeNeer Davis who is a full time artist and started as a Graffiti Artist and #SneakerArtist. DeNeer's work https://neerperfection.bigcartel.com comes from and generates Love. Big Love. It's impossible to be in their presence and not feel Love emanating the space. When DeNeer's life long goal to be a professional basketball player was cut short by an ACL injury, depression, drinking and suicidal thoughts got louder and louder. In this interview, they talk about how dark the thoughts got and how a voice pulled them through and helped them turn everything around, with Love. A Charlotte native, DeNeer takes pride in bringing Love and colorful murals to their community especially. They work with young people who are in juvenile detention, after school programs, and youth looking for mentorship and possibilities. DeNeer is a powerful speaker, motivational creator and finding their way in the world of art despite coming into their calling just recently.
