
How many of us have heard the often-used retort “Who are you to judge?” Or “The Bible tells us not to judge.” when in conversation or perhaps argument about sin? It is a well-loved argument often used in an effort to shut down conversations about sin, or to deflect having to take responsibility for our own sin. That statement is pulled from James 4.
