Allison joins us from New Jersey, USA today to share her story of leaving her career in Advertising to Co-Found a women powered adventure & hiking trip company: WHOA Travel. In 2013 this idea took off and her and Co-Founder, Danielle Thornton,are proud to have grown their team to 20 trip leaders offer 30-40 trips per year and personally have visited over 67 countries collectively while also hikng Kilimanjaro 15 times! The WHOA community is bigger and stronger than ever offering adventure trips for women of all identities to places like Antarctica, Patagonia, Ecuador, Iceland, Peru, Mongolia & others, where their motto is that strong women lift each other up, and if you want to travel, explore, hike or just dance with somebody then you’ve found a home with WHOA travel.
Allison shares inspiring insight into creating a travel company along with motivation and what it’s like hiking Mt. Kilimanjaro - wise words that you can take with you in any aspect of life, ‘just put one foot infront of the other and keep going’
