Jeb Puryear, guitar/vocals for Donna the Buffalo, joins us for a conversation ranging from the history of the band and the GrassRoots Festivals in Trumansburg, NY and Pittsboro, NC, to the current state of politics. Along the way we discuss some Col. Bruce Hampton stories and hear five tunes he has been working on in Nashville. The original idea was to release this in multiple podcasts throughout 2020, but with COVID-19 causing the cancellation of the Spring Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival we decided to release it all at once. Recorded October 5, 2019.
