The word “sezim” in Kazakh language simply means “a feeling”. We, humans, have a lot of feelings, sometimes simple, sometimes complex. Some of our feelings and emotions we struggle to describe, some are hidden deep inside - the truth is they’re inevitable and make up so much of who we are. So sharing people’s stories and talking about different topics such as psychology, culture, art is what I want this podcast to be about. So you, my listener, would feel as if we’re in the same room, taking part in an engaging conversation, at least that’s my hope ❤️ Instagram: @oinkara

Heartbreaks 💔 and memory 🧠
Tune in to Episode 2 as we continue to talk with Laura Schneider (learn more about Laura’s work here: https://www.lauraschneiderartwork.com) about our earliest memories and how deeply our identity is entrenched in what we remember. Through reflections in her latest work, Thymesis, the blurry line between reality and fiction fades over time, as we try to fill in the gaps in our memory and perhaps want to forget less pleasant episodes, such as heartbreak. Please try not to cry as I offer my thoughts on heartbreaks and instead bless our brain’s forgetfulness, when it comes to getting over someone 💔 Hope you enjoy 😊 Oh! And Laura shares her impressions of Almaty, Kazakhstan during her visit last year 🇰🇿
