3. Workers Who Build The Kingdom of God On This Earth (Matthew 6:10)
Today, we read from the prayer our Lord has taught us again. Matthew chapter 6, verse 10 says, “Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.” I would like to focus on this passage today.Our Lord said, “In this manner, therefore, pray” (Matthew 6:9). The first lesson was to pray, “Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.” That is, we have to pray in a manner that glorifies the name of our Father. The second was to pray, “Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.” Our Lord told us to pray like this for the Kingdom of God. God has appointed His own people in this land and told them that He will build His Kingdom on this earth. Also, that “God’s will be done on earth as it is in Heaven” is a mandate to the righteous to build the Kingdom of God on this earth.
