Is it possible to be an entrepreneur and have serenity? Successful business owners challenge the idea that these two entities cannot co-exist with lively discussions of real-life business woes, their secrets to success, and where they land on the path to finding serenity in both their business and personal lives! Who are the voices in the podcast? A group of business owners with diverse skill sets coming together to share stories of starting their businesses, as well as their successes and challenges, all in hopes of imparting knowledge and inspiration, and a chance to feel connected with others. Our podcast features a panel of six, charismatic women: an accountant, a lawyer, two grant specialists (tax credits and government grants), a risk and finance consultant, and a marketing expert. Our virtual fireside-chat style is casual, yet informative, while we address a wide range of topics and questions from entrepreneurs who don’t know where to turn to for direction. Drawing from our real-world experiences in the often daunting world of entrepreneurship, we provide resources and advice for business owners. Whether you are in the early planning stages, you run a well-established business or you are looking to expand your operation, we can provide you with the guidance to thrive in these ever-changing times. Our podcast is a forum to give back and help our community of amazing entrepreneurs while we aspire to achieve the elusive notion of “Serenity Now”.

From Farm Girl to Fearless Entrepreneur: The Knotty Cowgirl's Journey
"2.5 million people drive past my store each year. The name makes 80% of them turn around." Every business has a story, but few are as authentic and inspiring as Kasha Thomson's journey. In our latest episode of Serenity Now for Entrepreneurs, this fourth-generation farmer shares how she transformed a recovery hobby into a thriving Western lifestyle brand. What started with making hemp necklaces during knee injury recovery evolved into a mission to empower others. The name "Knotty Cowgirl" (with a K for knots!) has become more than clever wordplay – it's a rallying cry for resilience. Key moments from our conversation: Building a business while battling self-doubt Creating a safe space beyond retail Transforming personal loss into purposeful growth The courage to pivot and prioritize your own vision A powerful quote from Kasha: "Vulnerability is so scary until you realize it's a strength." Whether you're an entrepreneur, building a family business, or navigating personal challenges, Kasha's story reminds us that sometimes we all need to "knotty up" and keep pushing forward.
