According to Jay Shetty, "The more you try to keep up with others' opinions, the more you’ll fall behind." Just as you would care for your plants, you must also manage your strengths and talents. You nurture the plant with water, you develop care plan (it’s needs), you place it near a window for extra sunlight and you check the soil periodically.
Gifts and talents should also be nourished. Similar to a plant, you must learn how to properly care, manage, and protect them from anything that is potentially harmful. When you do this, you create an anchor—a strong foundation that neutralizes those who come to destroy. Be determined, patient and let your gifts show. On Mael Hartzell’s blog, he shares a list of strengths and talents that you may find helpful.
