This is one of my favorite uplifting songs! What message does it really send? Have we asked ourselves whether this is really what we want? Do we want to maximize every second of every day to have that optimum life where we "manage" all that is expected of us and what we expect of ourselves?
Make choices, and reduce the to-do list: delegate, get help, let the people dependent on you get a little independent and once in awhile, just let things be “not perfect” — because everything cannot be and because everything is not supposed to be!

For many years I was tuck in this rut, thinking the word, ruminating over inadequacies and often wishing for things to change. I wasted so much of my life in this place. I really didn’t realize it until I looked back at my journals. My journal entries inspired me to write my first book called “Rediscover the Woman in You. I share this book as a guide for women who can’t move past the habit of unproductive thinking. Make your goal for 2023 to get rid of those limiting beliefs and began a journey of self-discovery.
“Being able to practice self-love and raise your self-esteem isn't just something you need to do to feel good about yourself — it's a pivotal part of escaping the feeling of being "stuck" in your life.
When we become fearless the world is not as scary as it seems, and we’ve come to terms with who we are. We aren’t worried about whether or not we can do something or if others will like us or approve of us. We know that the people around us and the goals we set for ourselves matter.
When we aim to please other people, we’re seeking approval of self from outside sources. And whenever we reach for something in the outside world to give us what we should be giving ourselves, we set ourselves up for disappointment and heartache.
Here’s what happens when you live a life outside of yourself.
1. avoid doing things that are important to you,
2. feel anxious about trying new things outside your comfort zone,
3. get stuck worrying about what others might expect from you.
4. It may cause you to fear failing so much that you give up before you start.

You’ve probably heard about the importance of self-love. But what are the benefits of self-love? And how can you achieve it?
Rhonda Byrne’s "The Secret ," With The Secret, you can learn the benefits of self-love and how it helps you control your circumstances and your life. You nurture the plant with water, you develop care plan (it’s needs), you place it near a window for extra sunlight and you check the soil periodically.
Gifts and talents should also be nourished. Similar to a plant, you must learn how to properly care, manage, and protect them from anything that is potentially harmful. When you do this, you create an anchor—a strong foundation that neutralizes those who come to destroy. Be determined, patient and let your gifts show. On Mael Hartzell’s blog, he shares a list of strengths and talents that you may find helpful.
