Andrew Fazzolari & Brendan Clay - Live at The Foxtrot (April 2021)
It's been a long minute since we've published a mix—that isn't to say that we have spent the last year in hibernation, however.
Indeed, we spent most of 2020 plying our trade at a toasty, over-the-bridge establishment called 'The Foxtrot', playing warming selections for a thirsty, seated crowd.
When playing gigs at the ol' Fox, and of a similar dynamic in recent time, we've been promoting more slow-mo, lo-fi and hip-hop-oriented sounds—often steering clear of a repetitive 4x4 kick drum—regularly flipping over to a cool, relatively unknown B-side and exercising the depths of our collections in the process.
This is one example that we really quite enjoyed, recorded live, opening the night at The Foxtrot, and we thought it best to share here.
