John Jesurun is a playwright, director and media artist based in New York. His work is distinguished by his integrated creation of text, direction, set and media design. Past projects include “Faust~How I Rose” at BAM, “Philoktetes” at Soho Rep, “Firefall” at Dance Theater Workshop, Jeff Buckley’s video “Last Goodbye”, Harry Partch’s opera “Delusion of the Fury”at the Japan Society. “Shatterhand Massacree and other Media Texts” published by Performing Arts Journal. The Segal Center Film Festival on Theatre and Performance (FTP) is an annual event showcasing films drawn from the world of theatre and performance. The festival presents experimental, emerging, and established theatre artists and filmmakers from around the world to audiences and industry professionals.
