Catinca Drăgănescu is an emerging theatre director and playwright from Romania. She has a PhD diploma in theatre studies and currently works as a researcher at the National University of Theatre and Cinematography in Bucharest. Catinca runs an NGO called idea77 and is the managing director of an independent performance art showcase.
Her work has been presented live or online in festivals from Germany, Estonia, The Netherlands, Macedonia, Russia, Czech Republic, USA.The Segal Center Film Festival on Theatre and Performance (FTP) is an annual event showcasing films drawn from the world of theatre and performance. The festival presents experimental, emerging, and established theatre artists and filmmakers from around the world to audiences and industry professionals.
