The Prophet Muhammad (saw) governs internal affairs in the state of Madinah, and we see the first conflict between the Muslims and Jews.

The Quraysh, still reeling from the defeat at Badr, attempt to claw back some legitimacy, and a weary assassination attempt proves once more the Prophet is favoured.
