Dr Rana Dajani on the science of her success
Dr Rana Dajani is considered one of the most influential women in the Arab world. She is a molecular biologist who received a Fulbright scholarship to do a PhD in the USA. She has lectured at Yale, the University of Cambridge and has a fellowship at Harvard. As a social entrepreneur she started the We Love Reading programme in Jordan that now operates in over 55 countries across the world. She speaks to host Amina Taher about how she was unable to study at Cambridge when offered a place and how a marriage and four kids later she was finally able to pursue her dream.
