This time I chat with Fr Gerard O’Dempsey, a parish priest of The Good Shepherd Parish (https://www.facebook.com/goodshepherdparishplumpton, http://www.goodshepherd.org.au), where I go every Sunday to worship and serve as an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist.
As we talk, I learn the reasons why Fr Gerard loves Queensland more than New South Wales, how did he become a Capuchin Friar, what does he like cooking and where his passion for buses come from .
The main part of my chat is to unpack the meaning of church Liturgy. In his final message Fr Gerard encourages us to come to Sunday Mass with our little THANK YOU thoughts and intentions and bring them to God during the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
Enjoy the talk.
