Each episode of Seaside 101, produced by Seaside High School students, gathers the perspectives and thoughts from department heads within the City of Seaside. Seniors Aiden Ousley and Mary Roberto started this project in the winter of 2021, collecting interviews in the fall and producing episodes as they wrapped up their final trimester before graduation in the spring of 2022. Supported with administrative help at the City of Seaside, this project was a collaborative effort and placed 2nd at the Oregon High School Future Business Leaders of America State Conference and Competition. We first sit down with the City's Tourism Marketing Director, Joshua Heineman, to learn about advertising, informational resources, and more.
