Another week, another Neil! This time Sullivan of Wimbledon Crazy Gang fame. Sully’s incredible career saw him play 665 times over a 25-year career. From picking up dog poo before sessions on Wimbledon Common, to spells at Tottenham, Chelsea, and even World Cup adventures with the Scottish national team. The 1996-97 started in interesting fashion for Sully after Beckham caught him out from the half-way line on the opening day. Then David Batty beat him from long range the next game, and Alan Shearer scored his first ever Newcastle goal in the same match.
