A short explanation of the "Culture of Violence Index 2025" by Franz Jedlicka ( http://dx.doi.org/10.13140/RG.2.2.22369.83049 ), which is a follow up of his "Culture of Violence Scale" and confirms his "Legislation-Peace Nexus" theory. The legislation of a country obviously shapes the acceptance of violence of its population and has an impact on its peacefulness. Countries with a legal ban on ALL forms of violence are more peaceful.

After the last podcast episode announcing the Austrian World Peace Museum ( https://www.peacemuseum.net - work in progress) here are already the 10 strategies for world peace, as suggested by project leader Franz Jedlicka. Some of them also can be found in the Positive Peace Report of the Institute for Economics and Peace. But of course these recommendations can be critizised, questioned and expanded upon: in the museum - or online: through comments.

Famous author Alice Miller has written two letters to two former popes, asking them if they could tell believers worldwide in clear terms that violence against children should never be used. Because these letters were not answered, this one is being sent to the current pope by peace researcher Franz Jedlicka, who has found a linkage between a widespread use of physical punishment in the countries of the world and their lack of peacefulness. 

Bereits Alice Miller hat an zwei frühere Päpste brieflich den Appell gerichtet, den Gläubigen unmissverständlich zu sagen, dass die Körperstrafe in der Kindererziehung auch aus Sicht der katholischen Kirche nicht akzeptabel ist. Leider ist das bis heute noch nicht geschehen, obwohl eine gewaltfreie Kindheit bereits in der UN Konvention über die Kinderrechte 1989 klar gefordert wurde, ebenso wie von UNICEF, der WHO und dem SDG 16.2.
