There are events in the Old Testament which are very troubling to read. One of the hardest is about the horrific murder of the Levite's concubine, and the slaughter in battles which follow (Judges 19-21). However, great goodness can be found in these chapters, illustrating how God's Plan for our redemption is not halted by the evil which men do.
