There is no where else but right here right now.” Over Memorial Day weekend at Movement 2015 (or as I prefer to call it Detroit Electronic Music Festival), my cousin filled me in on all that Giorgio Moroder represents, is credited with, and is still producing. Like many people my generation and younger, I just didn’t realize all that he has accomplished and has influenced. So I have been obsessing over his music ever since. The coincidence is I was already planning this disco revival thing for my Pride gig but things were just not jelling. My spirit guides must have channeled Giorgio through my cousin because everything for this set fell into place better than I had anticipated.
