Fang is an influential American hardcore punk rock band that remains true to their start from the 80's. This maybe because Sam "Sammytown" McBride, their vocalist, has lived the life and experiences they sing about as opposed to just reading about the suffering of humanity. He has committed henious crimes, one that ultimately landed him in Prison for a long time. He was part of the notorious "Acid Family" and was a big time drug dealer, all the while playing in the iconic band Fang (Which has been covered by bands like Metallica and Nirvana). After serving time (In San Quentin, a notoriously violent institution at the time) he vowed never to go back to prison.
