In this episode our guest is Norma Benger-Hayes, a Marrathiel woman from the Daly River region. Norma has a long history in Indigenous health, including 15 years at Menzies School of Health Research. It was during a scabies eradication day in an Arnhemland community that Norma discovered she had a ‘super power’ – the ability to see scabies mites with the naked eye! It was a discovery that would eventually lead to exotic adventures on faraway shores.
