Scrap The Sweet Talk With Rebecca & Chad Hamilton
Rebecca & Chad Hamilton
100 episodes
Hosted by: Rebecca Hamilton- author, artist, photographer & entrepreneur and Chad Hamilton- marathon runner, podcast host and addictions advocate. We started a bakery business, grew it from the ground up to over a million in sales only to close it down after embarking on our own personal health & wellness journeys that no longer aligned with selling sugar and processed foods. We’re back for season 5 of Scrap The Sweet Talk Podcast, and let’s just say that we’ve scrapped a lot more than just the sweet talk since we’ve talked to you last. Yep. we’ve scrapped our entire bakery business altogether. After over a decade of growing Chick Boss Cake from the ground up, building it to over a million in sales and investing all our time, money & energy into it, we decided to close it down. Let’s just say, we’ve grown into completely different people than the kids we were when we started it and ironically, we’ve both developed a passion for living a healthy lifestyle that does not align with running a sugary, processed food, dessert empire. It’s hard to believe we ended up here... and this season, we’re talking all about change. It’s so much easier to keep doing what you’ve always done and way more difficult to let go of comfort and step into the unknown. Welcome to Scrap The Sweet Talk podcast, where we hope to inspire you to challenge societal norms, old beliefs & re-align to become your most authentic self.
