Murder in the King's House
On June 8th, 1946, London was in a party mood. A Victory Parade to celebrate the end of World War II saw the city consumed with pomp and fanfare. In the affluent suburb of Belgravia, in a house owned by the exiled King of Greece — George II — Elizabeth McLindon was shot in the back of the head.
