WOULD AFRICANS RETURN | DR AKIN OYAWALE

The question of "would Africans return?" is based on the growing racial discrimination against Africans in the West. This has resulted in several protests in recent times. Are these issues associated with the slave trade issues? Would Africans begin to find their ways back to the motherland? How prepared is the motherland Africa for the possible return of her people? In this episode, Akin Oyawale - researcher at Warwick University, shed in-depth opinion on these issues - contextualising and illuminating areas that would need critical unpacking for a possible Return of Africans under a worst-case scenario.

Thank you for listening.
