In the 1980s, Hershel the Very Hungry Sea Lion was blamed for the disappearance of steelhead from Puget Sound. A series of attempts to oust the Sea Lion brought up bigger ecological questions. In this episode, we discuss these with writer Kate Gammon and her article for Hakai Magazine.
